The show

On Tuesday we were lucky enough to see a show. Below are some of the students writing around this experience. We are focusing on using varied sentence starters such as First, Next Then,  using appropriate vocabulary, punctuation and approximate spelling. Below are some of our work.

The Mahuika Show

On Tuesday the whole school went over to the Rarawa Clubrooms to watch a show. First the fantail got stuck in the mud and Sissy helped the fantail out of the mud. Next Pukeko came back. Then the Pukeko took the Fireman to it’s nest. I liked it. My favourite part was Sissy saving the Fantail.

On Tuesday the whole school went over to the Rarawa Clubrooms to watch a show. The show was funny. My favourite part was the pukeko because it put his beak in the water. Next they sang a song. I loved it. It was fun. By Charlotte

sports

We are very fortunate to have Paolo doing sport with us on a Monday. The children enjoyed playing chain where they had to try to cooperate together to catch the others.

Wednesday's

On Wednesdays for the next 7 weeks I am attending a Digital Fluency Intensive course so Mrs Karen Meyer is taking the class. If they haven't already could students bring a white t-shirt to school on Wednesday as they are doing fabric painting.  Thank you.

Bully Free Week

This coming week is Bully Free week. On Friday we are having a mufti day to raise funds for this cause.  Children may wear a pink item of clothing and bring a gold coin. Thankyou.  Room
